Today I got up at 5:30 and drove to the farmhouse that I usually babysit at on Thursday nights. Tyler was already up and we went to see the four new baby goats that they got. There are two girls, Emerald and Porshe, and two boys, Bentley and Gizmo.

We walked back to the house in the rain and I settled in for a nice, calm day with one twelve year old kid who barely talks to me. That of course, was not the case. About 8:30 a woman pounded on the door and was like "Your horses got out! They ran across 162 and one of them almost got hit by a car! You have to come get them." Hence my subject line. I'm from UD, you want me to do WHAT?! Luckily there was a guy working at the barn and we got him and the neighbors to help get the horses. I just thank God that they didn't get hit crossing 162...people fly on that road.

After that, Tyler's dad called and said he was going to pick Tyler up early...so I just kind of finished writing a fanfic and left. I went to Taylor's and dropped about 45 bucks on music, reeds, and cork grease. I <3 the student discount though, because it would have been a bit more without it. Got my hair cut, watched Jess, and then came home to do ebay. Long live the empire.

PS: I'm still in love with Star Trek, and yesterday I found TNG Season 3 for 30 bucks in Suncoast. Used dvds are glorious things. :)

Jess and I finished watching Card Captor Sakura! Shaoran finally gave her the bear, but Sakura didn't say anything, and he doesn't know that she loves him (although she might not really know...I think she does) I can't wait to watch the movies! This is the first series I've seen all the way through in a long time, and it's much longer than most of the ones I've watched (70 eps)

Cosplay hasn't come too much further since the last post. I'm working on my Lucia costume and finishing that up. I don't have much more to do for the green Sakura costume...just gloves (gr) and the hat, really.

I babysat the children from hell today. It was bound to happen. All of my jobs have been so good lately. The two year old, Brian, was fine, but once his brother Spencer (3) came back from his swimming lesson, it was completely downhill. Spencer liked to defy everything I said, such as "don't play in the street" and "please don't hit your brother." He ran over the baby with his bike, causing his hand and knee to bleed, hit him in the head with a broom, knocked him over, threw dirt in his face and eyes, threw a fistful of coins at his face, and repeatedly told me he was going to punch me in the face and other not-nice things. Then when his mother was talking to him, he told her "You shut up!" Nice, huh?

I was all too happy to put them down for naps and get the HELL out of there. I picked up Jess and we watched Star Trek and played Mousetrap and that made everything better.

After that I got my good babysitter award for going to see Zach's baseball game. He invited me so nicely the one night I was babysitting that I figured if I could make it, I really would go. I was glad I did, because he had an awesome hit and he pitched two innings. Stacey and her dad were happy that I came.

I also got a call about babysitting for a woman with just one two year old girl in Pottstown. I think it's my dream job. She's supposed to call me tomorrow to confirm, and then I'll meet her and dump the fam from hell. The woman, Donna, sounded very nice. I'm excited to meet her and her daughter.

I decided that I need video games. I used to play video games like crazy, and I don't anymore, and Glenn is always playing and I have nothing to do. Tonight I updated two stories on fanfiction.net, but now I'm bored and rambling in a thing that no one reads. I'm also really tired from getting up at six, so I think I'm just going to get to bed...but I'm tempted to buy Warcraft ;)

    <lj:music>Annoying game music from Glenn's war game</lj:music>

Okay, so it's been an entire semester since I posted...

That's okay, because I don't think that anyone relies on this to know what's going on in my life.

To recap:
I went to Katsucon in February and dressed Card Captor Sakura, of course. This time it was the song card costume. Very music major-appropriate. I bought a kimono and two Sakura manga...in japanese! They're hard cover and extremely nice books...and...I can read some of them!!!

In March we initiated twelve new sisters of SAI, and had an Epsilon Epsilon Reunion Luncheon! It was really nice, and Dr. Dannessa (my clarinet prof) came to the ceremony!

I was elected Editor for the EE chapter and I couldn't be happier! I have been thinking of all sorts of crazy editor-y plans for next year. I'm so excited!

After school finally, FINALLY ended (and did I mention finally?) I officially moved to East Greenville to live with Glenn and his sister Emily. It's nice not having to make excuses to see him on the weekends but I do miss my family...especially my mom. I didn't spend very much time at home last summer though, and I go home a lot to visit still, so it isn't that strange. Glenn came with me for Easter and Mother's Day, so that was a nice "best of both worlds" kind of thing.

I got to meet Glenn's family over Memorial Day. We stayed with his mother and met his sister Beth (who lives on the second floor of his mom's house) She showed me lots of pictures of Glenn and her daughter Lexi (who wasn't there that weekend, so I didn't meet her yet. boo!) Glenn and I did a lot of repairs and stuff for the house, and on Sunday went to visit his dad and step-mom, Marsha (they just call her Marsha, b/c they were all adults when he remarried) After that was a visit to Glenn's best friend, Mark and his wife Sue's house. Then back to mom's, where we played Karaoke Revolution with Beth and had an awesome time :)

Lately all I've been doing is babysitting. I babysit Jessica, who is 12 all day this week (9-6:30) and I've been taking additional jobs on Tuesdays and Fridays for my other fave family, as well as continuing my Thursday night job. Keeps me busy, but also keeps me in the monies! Haha. This week alone I've made a disgusting amount of money just sitting around working on my costume and watching Star Trek and anime. I've watched more Star Trek this week than I did all year. It was AWESOME. They run Voyager every day on Spike (and TNG, but they're playing the second season and I have it on dvd) On Monday, G4 ran original series ALL DAY. Heather <3s Star Trek. :)

I'm slowly but surely converting Jess to an otaku. She was like determined to watch all of CCS (Card Captor Sakura) today, but we stuck to just nine eps (haha) We'll probably finish the series tomorrow, because there are only about 8 eps left. I need to get my hands on the first movie. ^-^

The costume making is going really well so far. I have finished the shorts, shirt, vest, shoes, and knee highs, leaving just gloves and the hat to finish. I'm also working on a Nanami Lucia costume, but it's simple. just a yellow tank with red trim, flower, and the words "pichi pichi" She wears that with jean shorts and red boots (which I finally found in the right style and now OWN!) I want to make her necklace out of sculpy...and then...who knows? Maybe I'll make another costume, since Otakon isn't until July 20! Haha...

    <lj:music>The sound of Glenn shaving?</lj:music>

Glenn came over on Tuesday and it was nice :) I made us sandwiches for lunch and we exchanged gifts. I got a night gown, a triumph shirt, and a really cute black velvety shirt that Glenn said "looked like me" (which is does!) He loved the scarf and the pillows, and since we've been playing the D&D game non-stop, I get the feeling he really likes that too. :)

After dinner we went to see Eragon. It was okay, but kind of like Star Wars with dragons and even more like "hey, we just wanted to set you up for the second movie." Ugh.

I lived through Wednesday by shopping avec ma cousine, Jess. We went to the bank and the post office (aww, we run ERRANDS. lol) and then on to 69th St and the ghetto store, Conway. She found pink Barbie-doll-like shoes for three bucks, I found blue with buttons for two dollars and cute heels for 12. Not bad! I hit the cute Korean shops as well and picked up presents for Nette and Meliss and some other un-named people. teehee. We also went to New York and Company and I got a suit jacket and a cute shirt.

Don't know how I did it, but I got through Thursday to like seven o'clock and headed out to Glenn's house. I have a key from when I was checking on the cats. Mwuaha. I took him to work on Friday, which was originally so that we could pick up the bike, but it wasn't done (go figure...it has been 'supposed to be done' for the past like three months) anyways, Glenn gave me 80.00 in target gift cards that he's acquired from work and sent me shopping. Lol. I got a bathing suit and sunglasses and picked up the latest season of the Simpsons for Emily all from Target. I went in DSW and found the most beautiful Steve Maddens I have ever seen and they were in my size section, but NOT MY SIZE! Some jerk threw a pair of size 6s in with the 8.5s. Gr.
Went back to Arista and talked to Stephanie (who knew I was either Jessica or Heather...) and then found Wes, who of course was like "what's going on? Who you hanging out with on New years huh?" Haha.

After work we headed out to lunch at Chilis and shopped at the Montgomeryville mall (spelling?) Glenn nudged me into Gordon jewelers and before like two seconds this lady had us looking at engagement rings and teaching us about diamonds. Amazing. I was never so bored in all my life. Like, the guy she handed us over to, Terrance, just kept talking and talking and i'm like "excuse me, can you breath/shut up for two seconds so that I can tell you to show me this this this and this? I don't care what it's made out of or how the light reflects through it, I think that one is pretty and I wanna try it on!" Lol.

We watched this movie called Saint, which is really good, though I saw the second half the following day because I got a killer migraine and went to bed way early. Saturday, Glenn and I went out for some errands (damn you ovaries, I hate you) and got lunch and then spent from like 6-12 playing the Dungeons and Dragons game.

Today we got up and I took a lot of Advil and my ovaries still hated me, and I tried to not be in too much pain because I wanted to watch Glenn design our house. He has cad software and stuff and knows how to design and actually build houses. So we have a tentative plan for the first floor! After that, we of course played D&D way too long, and now we're definitely going to be late for Dana and Tony's but they just said to get there at 7 or later, so it doesn't matter much. I hope the rest of the gang is coming. Kind of weird if it's just like me and Glenn, and if that were the case, I'd rather stay here, as Tony and Dana live about two hours away.

Anyways, that's my update! Happy New Year everyone!

    <lj:music>Love Hina Theme Song</lj:music>

Merry Christmas!

I haven't posted in a really long time. I got my grades back and found out I made Dean's List :) That was nice.

I've been home since last Tuesday, babysitting a lot, and everyone gave me money, so my financial woes are shaping up to be not woes. Stacey bought me a ginormous purse and a wallet, and thanks to my awesome cousins and siblings, I have a wallet photo of all of us to go in it now! Wow! We took the picture for Grandmom and gave it to her tonight.

Christmas felt like it came up so fast, but it was sneakier than usual this year. Like, I got done sitting on Friday night and it was like "oh wow...I have nothing done..."

Saturday Jeannette and I went to the King of Prussia mall in search of Frederick's of Hollywood and Victoria Secret. ;) We roved around the mall (which I haven't done in that particular mall in a long time) and I got cell phone charms and cute stuff at the Hello Kitty store. We had lunch at Blue Pacific and it was sooo good. I love sushi and teriyaki :)

Saturday evening I saw Jen McKay for the first time in like two years. It was awesome. She came over and we got all caught up with each other's lives and then went to Nifty Fifties for old time sake. Yummy milkshake and cheese fries! It was really good seeing her :)

Sunday, Christmas Eve, I worked on Glenn's presents most of the day. I made him pillows that one one side are blue and have the word Triumph in the style the company does it (logo-y) and the other side is yellow with a checkered stripe running down it (a la his motorcycle paint job) I think they turned out really cool ^-^ I did my usual watching of The X Files' How the Ghosts Stole Christmas and watched some Love Hina as well.

Today I made two batches of cookies and watched about 8 or 9 episodes of Love Hina, and made Buche de Noel (French christmas log cake thing) and we went to Aunt Barb's for dessert and had a fooseball tournament in the basement. Jess and I got pwned. I finished up Glenn's scarf and now I'm taking a break from tidying up my room. It's a complete disaster after sewing and wrapping and pseudo unpacking. -_-

I can't wait for tomorrow! Glenn's coming to visit!
I can't wait for Wednesday! Jess and I are shoe shopping!
I can't wait for Thursday! I'm leaving and not coming back until Tuesday... ;)

I finished finals on Friday, the last being my clarinet jury. Bonnie didn't think I was actually going to make her brownies for accompanying me, but I did. Not only that, but I got a judicial for leaving the oven on after and endangering the lives of everyone in Goshen Hall! Yay! Just kidding...it's not really as glamorous as I make it sound.

I spent the weekend with Glenn but had to come back on Sunday to play graduation, which meant missing part of game :( *cries* More about that in a minute.

Friday: I was late to babysitting because I had to pack my car, and so I got Jess from her bus stop and then we took the dry cleaning and i had her try to guess what sort of fun thing I brought her. She also informed me that she was gonna be alone until ten o'clock b/c her parents had somewhere to be. I was like "why didn't they ask me to stay?" Turns out they care about my social life and didn't want to take up my Friday night. I offered to stay til about 8, since I was just gonna kill time at a mall til Glenn got home anyway. Jess and I played DDR and Karaoke Revolution (the fun thing I brought) and her parents came home. I ran upstairs to tell them I would stay, and then I see this envelope sticking out of my purse. I'm like "oooh, cool. Christmas bonus." Um, imagine a christmas bonus times like six, b/c I definitely got a card with THREE HUNDRED dollars in it. I freaked out. I thanked them like crazy, and after they left took jess to Taylors to pick out some music. She was like "wait, what're you getting me?" "Um, I'm a music major and you play the sax...what do you think??" "Oh, music!" Haha. So the first thing she did when we got home? Practiced. It was awesome. Glenn got us chinese food and we watched House with Emily and went to sleep.

Saturday I slept almost the entire day because Glenn was mounting miniatures and then filing miniatures, and I was totally bored. We watched Elf and played Lord of the Rings and went to sleep. Next morning, of course, I had to leave super early for stupid graduation.

I was really pissed about graduation and really annoyed at being there. Freaking little ms. perfect is like "Um, excuse me heather, how far away do YOU live?" I was like "half hour...but I'm not going home, I'm going back to game!" and she's like "well I live THREE hours away..." Okay Ms. High and Mighty, sorry to offend your prissyness. I made it back to game and by some miracle (possibly dating the DM) I didn't miss the battle with the dragon. This was good for several reasons. 1. I really really really wanted to fight the dragon. 2. I inflicted most of the damage on it and 3. It was fun and I like gaming and I leveled up. :) One thing that pissed me off, I almost killed the damn thing and my next magic missile attack would have gotten it, but freaking Randi, who ALL game kept missing the thing, managed to hit it with a crit and killed it. I have yet to kill things :( After everyone left, Glenn and I took Emily's car to be serviced (since she was really tired) and then went to bed ourselves.

Monday, not much happened. We went for a motorcycle ride on Em's Ducati, which is pretty different than Glenn's Thruxton, but definitely not more comfortable. He was really uncomfortable too. It was a beautiful day for a ride, but got a little chilly after a bit. I was ready to head back by the time we reached a gas station just up the road from his house. We stopped to fill it (a whole four dollars!) and I sat on the bike, with the kickstand down. Glenn comes back and goes "take it off the kickstand and see how it feels." So I did this, against my better judgement, ,and the bike FELL ON ME. It was so heavy I couldn't control the weight at all. I was so afraid I'd scratched/completely ruined it. Glenn was all concerned about me and I was just so freaked. Turns out one of the braking lever thingies got bent really bad. When we got back and I saw it I just started crying and couldn't stop. Glenn hugged me and was like "look honey, you can't learn unless you try. You tried today. It's not a big deal, it's a twenty dollar part, and I'll fix it. It's fine, really!" But I still moped. We got Em's car back by meeting Em there, and then went to Fridays for dinner. The two of them talked about their extended family, telling me stories and stuff. I really wish I could go to Erie with them. :(

This morning I had a message about babysitting tonight, which I wasn't planning on at all. Instead of going to KoP alone, I came home and went to Panera with Jess. We hung out at my house and I tried to find this Christmas miniature Glenn was looking at today. I figure I can buy it for him for Christmas, b/c he didn't want to pay the overseas shipping on it. I didn't find it then, but I'm sitting now and I got a chance to look through the site some more, and I think I've got it. I'm gonna ask him a little about it if I can without being too obvious. I really hope it works out b/c I really want to get him something he'll like and be surprised about. :)

Gonna go play guitar hero. Shopping tomorrow day and night, hanging with Chris too. Should be interesting! I think he wants me to help him pick out something for his gf or something. Haha. Lame! Maybe I'm too mean and he just wants to hang. I know I miss him since I haven't seen him all semester.
Time to rock.
Later.

I don't remember when the last time i posted in this thing was. Besides that fun survey thingie for you guys to fill out...oddly enough, NO ONE has got my favorite TV show right so far, but i give a lot of partial credit for naming shows I actually watch. Lol.

I think before that was Hallowmas...and more than a month has elapsed since then.

School is obnoxious. I'm so tired of learning it's ridiculous. I have all gen eds, so "learn" doesn't really fit, but still. You get my drift. I'm writing this tonight with the knowledge that my twelve page paper for democracy and ed is DONE! Works cited and all, I am FINISHED! And let me tell you...it feels AWESOME.

I wanted to post about my 'date' last Friday. I suppose when you've had a boyfriend for three months you can still call them dates when you go out, but whatever. Glenn's sister Emily is dating an Italian guy named Alissandro, and he was in the states for about two weeks, which was nice. The four of us went out last Friday to a little restaurant in East Greenville called the Dapple Gray. When I say little, I mean the occupancy was 23, and the staff included the chef and a college student who worked register and hostess and waitress. It was really nice. We brought wine and she poured it for us, and the menus were printed for just December 1 & 2, with five different entrees and several appetizers. Alissandro and I got the exact same thing! We had mushroom soup and chicken wellington. Glenn had steak and Emily had swordfish (they both had soups too) and we toasted (Alissandro had me switch glasses with him b/c there was cork in mine. Haha.) For dessert Glenn got caramel drizzled chocolate chip bread pudding (delicious! He gave me some :) and I had flourless chocolate cake that was really good. Em got the same. The waitress had a treble clef drawn on her finger which of course, caught my attention. Turns out that her entire family is musical except for her. She studies business at Penn State (one of the not-main campuses) and she was cool to talk to. Alissandro told a lot of stories, and everyone began with "When I was...*insert different country every time HERE*" I was definitely jealous of his travels. He and Em are really cute together too. She kept filling in words in English that he didn't know and stuff. I found him really hard to understand at first, but as the night went on it got easier. Emily made a Princess Bride reference and had to explain it to Alissandro, so when we went home, we of course watched The Princess Bride! I love that movie. :) It's been awhile since I last saw it.

On Saturday I had to get up and drive back to West Chester for the SAI service project. Kristi and I volunteered at the Cerebral Paulsie Society's breakfast with Santa. It was so cute. We got to help little kids make crafts! When Santa arrived, Kristi was on crowd control and I handed out bubbles. Hehe. After that we went to the bridal shop and I watched Kristi try on wedding gowns (which of course made me want to get married) and I got to try on some bridesmaid gowns, which were all at least twice as big as me. One of them was about four times too big...Lol. Following that, we went to the mall and bought cute/sexy things in Victoria Secret, and then I got my hair cut! I have it still long, but with layers and side-bangs. :) It looked really good at the time. I searched for a dress to wear to Liz's wedding, but didn't find anything decent. :( After that I babysat Stacey's kids and we had a blast. I put them to bed, curled up by the fire, and fell asleep. They came home at TWO AM.

So okay, really late night + heather wants to see Glenn + absurd amounts of hormones = I bawled hysterically the whole drive from Stacey's to Glenn's. I don't know why, I was just a basket case, freaking about him being asleep and not liking my hair and all this stupid stuff. And of course, when I got there, he had waited up for me. He didn't mention my hair, but when I asked later he's like "i didn't notice. You just look like you." That's acceptable ;)

We gamed on Sunday, and I thought it'd be a pain, but I actually had a ton of fun. (when i'm hormonal i just want glenn to myself and not have to share him with his friends) We had this huge battle and I kicked some sorcerer ass with my fireball spell. Had to leave for SAI. It was our last meeting of the semester. I'm both happy and sad about that. I need this semester to end, and I hate leaving games to come back for meetings that don't accomplish much, but I love being with my sisters. It's always good for me :)

So Monday consisted of paper writing. Tuesday, paper writing followed by seeing Glenn to celebrate being mostly done. I finished today while babysitting. Jess came home from school and we got the dry cleaning and went to get dinner. Her mom has class on Wednesdays til 10, and her dad is in the UK, so I was staying late. Finished the paper before taking her to karate, crocheted, and then did the works cited. We played this board game call Ultimate Survival Trivia or something like that. Some of the questions were so funny. "How do you jump from a moving car?" "How do you jump from a motorcycle to a car?" Etc. We had a blast. I wish I could spend more down time with her. She's a cool kid.

I'm finishing up this entry, and then I'm going to watch anime or play video games to celebrate the fact that I p0wned my demEd paper. :) Or the fire alarm went off and I just spent the past twenty minutes outside...Ugh. Now I'm sleepy, and will probably just finish my citations and go to bed. :(

19 Days til Christmas
But only 7 school days til the end of the semester!

    <lj:music>World Inferno!</lj:music>

Tuesday October 31st

We drove to Brooklyn and got there about 7:30. We went to Subway to eat and do makeup. haha.

We stood in line and then Nick from NJ rolled up with a station wagon full of 95 pumpkins and dispersed them to the masses. I named mine Cleo and Amber's was Patrick. The stupid bouncer boat guys decided that "No fuckin punkins (that's punkin, not pumpkins) were allowed on the boat, and yelled at us to give them back. Funny, since they watched Nick drive away. Haha. We hid ours but they got gone by the time we returned.

We started buying drinks (those of us who were of age) and I had two white wines. Apparently that was enough for me. *sigh* I planted myself on a speaker and made friends with ODed Marilyn Monroe and Jackie Onassis (spelling?) They both could tell my dress was made and thought I did a really good job on it. :) I got some great pictures of the Max Levine Ensemble (featured in Hallowmas on the High Seas Part I on facebook) and took a trillion of World Infero (Hallowmas on the High Seas Parts II and III)

I was drunk, but still with it enough to take some awesome pics. If the boat and crowd and band members hadn't been moving, a lot more would have been centered and awesome. I still have some amazing ones though. I danced and sang like mad and Franz, as always, sang to me for a bit and came up to me after and gave me a hug and a huge kiss on the cheek. I love that accordian playing mario look alike. He's freaking awesome.

Inferno played a long set list, but to me it seemed to go by way too fast. Before I knew it we were docked again and told to leave. Despite our cries of "One more song" and "We're gonna fuck shit up tonight" Haha. I love the punk scene! Too bad I couldn't get to the after party. That would've been amazing. Still the best freaking show I've ever been to. I can't wait for next year!!!

My two favorite pics!

Friday came and went like a lot of Fridays. I had class, I took a god-awful music history exam that I studied way too much for to do as badly as I think I did, I got computer help, I wound up not eating as usual. Kristi invited me over for dinner right after I started working on my costume, and after that I headed up to Glenn's for the weekend.

It was supposed to be a really awesome night/weekend.

It was raining.

The car in front of me braked, I braked, I hydroplaned and wound up halfway into the other lane (opposing traffic) got back to find that the car behind me had taken this opportunity to speed up and pass me on the right (on a one lane road) The car behind him hit me. The car behind her hit her.

I screamed.

Then, heart pounding, I got out into the dark, freezing, rainy night to assess the damage.

My car is currently undrivable. It had to be towed.

I called Glenn, who was just getting to his house from work, and he came down to get me. I was a few miles shy of Pottstown. I called my parents. What a nightmare.

Glenn got all of my stuff into his car and put the heat on and drove me to his house. I called the insurance company and tried to collect myself and stop being so upset.

The next day I turned off the alarm by accident, and we wound up having to rush around like crazy just to get to my house on time. I was planning on driving, but that didn't work out so well.

We picked up Beth and got home and the party went really well. Everyone seemed like they were having fun and dad wasn't too evil and anti-social. We played apples to apples and the cousins and I went to Target to get a photo taken for our grandmother for Christmas. Glenn and I went to the mall and I found shoes for my costume and what not.

We went back to his town and got wings and pizza, then went home and to bed. And Glenn tried to teach me Russian. I learned "woman" and "long hair" and "here's a tank" I don't remember any of it though.

I ate left over cake for breakfast. It's all I've had all day. Glenn had to drive me home early because of a C'thulu game at Paul's. I have no transportation. I can't do anything. I can't work. I'm going to have to pay a ton of insurance and repairs and whatever else, on top of not making any money this week. I think my family I sit for hates me now. :(

This was supposed to be a good weekend. I was supposed to get to see Glenn all weekend without me having to go babysit or bail super early for SAI stuff. I didn't even get that. I got like a day and a half.

Why can't I ever just have a full weekend with him? Why does time always go so fast when we're together and so horribly slow when we're not? And why the hell do I have to be PMSing now of all times? I hate feeling like I want to cry over absolutely nothing.

    <lj:music>Music History...Haha.</lj:music>

This week, like the last three, has been hellish. This one was a little better but I had no shortage of papers, obnoxious amounts of reading material, a music history worksheet, quiz, and exam, and a computer program that caused plenty-o-headache.

Right now I should be further reviewing for the music history exam that I have tomorrow at 10. Instead, I'm waiting for some Chinese food and updating my live journal. Soooo hungry.

I got done babysitting at ten tonight. Usually I'm there until midnight and it's too late to call Glenn. So, happy me gets back into cell phone reception and calls him...only to get his voicemail. Again. He went to sleep. :( I have to wait til tomorrow night to see him. *sigh*

Tomorrow as soon as I'm done with classes and bullshit, I'm going to work on and hopefully finish my costume. I have to babysit at 3:30 but the dad told me today I'd probably be done early. I always get done early on Fridays and it doesn't do me any freaking good because Glenn doesn't get home til 9.

He has to meet my extended family this Saturday afternoon. My aunt and uncle, my cousins (jess knows him already) my brother and sister and my mom and dad and grandmom. Grandmom called me tonight and was asking about my "BF" I'm 21 years old and I don't say "B.F." and she's like 75...Lol. She asked if he goes to my school. -_-... I was like "um, no...no he doesn't..." Haha. I dunno, i think she'll be weirded out along with dad. Grandmom will give the polite "i disapprove" and dad will give the "I'm gonna freakin kill you two" looks. Aunt Barb is weirded out but she'll just gossip with my mom later. My brother might be an ass about it too.

It should seriously be enough that I've found someone who loves me and treats me extremely well. It should be good that I have someone who is past all the immature bullshit of college; who doesn't drink every night and party with random other girls, and who isn't a jerk. It should be good that he can actually carry on conversation with me and that he cares about and listens to what I have to say, even when he can't really relate. It should be awesome that he doesn't care about sex and that he puts my school work ahead of his desire to spend time with me.

It won't be.

They're all gonna flip out about his age, and to hell with everything else.

I hate that.

So I didn't get done babysitting until 1:30 in the morning yesterday. That means that I didn't get back to Glenn's until 2:00. Normally it's a forty-five minute drive, but I sped...like, as much as going 75 in 35 mile zones...I accidentally ran a red light, and at the intersection of Gilbertville Road and 73/whatever else it's called, I turned right on red, made a u-turn, and turned right on the green light so that I didn't have to sit there forever. Yeah.

Glenn got me a bear (that he bought from Penny, our old supervisor!) It was one that benefitted St. Jude's Children's Hospital, so it was really nice. He also gave me a funny card, and on the inside wrote "Happy Birthday Heather! We'll celebrate many more together." It was really nice :) We both got hungry at like, four in the morning, which was totally random since we were both sleepy beyond all reason. I wanted pizza, and he wanted cake. Haha. He warmed up some meat-lovers crazy-heart-attack-inducing pizza (it was like sausage, pepperoni, ham, and who knows what else) and I wolfed that down and then was like "bring on the cake!" Before he brought out the delicious chocolate iced, chocolate cake he had gotten me, he gave me a shot of bourbon. Ick and burn! I guess you have to drink something on your 21st though! After that, cake and bed...til like 2 this afternoon.

Never a dull time with SAI, Sunday evenings at 8. We were actually done by 9:30 and I went out to meet Jess, Mule, and Glenn. Shana came with, which made me sooo happy :) I couldn't believe Glenn drove an hour to get here just to go out with me. He's so sweet about it too...he was like "I did it to be with you" even though he was with me all day. :) We went to Iron Hill Brewery and sat at a table, since Jess is underage. I had a chocotini, some alcoholic lemonade, a screwdriver, and the rest of Glenn's lemonade thingie (which he apparently ordered so I'd have to drink the rest of it) This was all in the period of like a half hour, so I got a little tipsy. After that we went to the Exton Diner, and apparently I said really funny things, but Jess, Mule, and I can't remember any of them. I said something in the car that was like, off the wall hilarious, but we forgot it. All in all, a very, very good night. I'm glad I spent it with the people I did.

I probably won't drink like that again, even though that was pretty much in moderation. I felt (and still feel) kind of dizzy. I felt nauseous when i woke up at like, five am (after going to bed at two) and in my state of genius, decided, what could be more fun than completely offending my roommates with sticky notes? What a mess :(

I am up for class, however trivial and stupid that may be. World Geography had let out no less than a half an hour early every class since our last exam. I hate getting up in the morning for that, but whatever. Must shower and brush my teeth and all that jazz.

    <lj:music>The silence of the night</lj:music>

This is my first time using Live Joural. Everyone has had this for forever and I'm the last to get one. I don't even know why I want/need one at this point, since I use myspace and facebook so much, but I'm babysitting and it's like two hours until my twenty-first birthday, and I thought, "what else am I gonna do for fun?"

I know it's lame to babysit the night before my twenty-first rather than going out and drinking, but there are several good reasons for that. One, I don't like drinking. Two, babysitting = good money. Three, this is my favorite family, and the kids are adorable.

I got here and Zach and Sammie gave me necklaces that they made to be my presents. They also made cookies and had a Barbie candle and they sang happy birthday to me! It was soooo cute. I love my kids!

So they're sleeping and I just made my first live journal post. :)
